Job Summary:

The LPN provides basic nursing care under the supervision of an RN or physician. Responsibilities include monitoring patient health, administering medications, performing routine procedures, and maintaining accurate patient records. The LPN ensures a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and implementing patient care under RN supervision.

• Monitor vital signs and observe patients’ physical and mental conditions.

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, following established protocols.

• Perform routine nursing procedures such as wound care, catheterization, and injections.

• Document patient care and update medical records accurately.

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

• Educate patients and families about health care, medication, and treatment plans.

• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and facility protocols.

• Respond to patient emergencies and provide basic life support if needed.
